THE Japan National Diet delegation led by the Chair of the Standing Committee on Cabinet, Mr. Hoshino Tsuyoshi paid a courtesy visit to the Philippine Coast Guard National Headquarters at Port Area Manila, yesterday, 08 August 2024.
The said visit enhanced and solidified the cooperation in crucial areas such as maritime security and safety, and fostering strong partnership between two countries.
Chief of Coast Guard Staff, Philippine Coast Guard, CG Rear Admiral Hostillo Arturo Cornelio, Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Education and Training (CG-12), CG Captain Noemie Cayabyab, Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Operations (CG-3), CG Capt Dann August Cariño, Acting Deputy Director, Coast Guard Strategic and Studies and International Affairs Center (CGSSIAC), CG Capt Noriel Ramos, and other senior Coast Guard officers were also present during the visit.
